Product OverviewLG608-2 Degreaser is a high-performance, low-silicate alkaline degreaser specially designed for phosphorus-free ceramic conversion (nano-ceramic conversion coating) processes. It efficiently removes various oils on steel surfaces while creating an optimal micro-active surface for ceramic conversion. It strictly controls the type and content of impurities, especially silicate (SiO₃²⁻) and phosphate (PO₄³⁻), entering the ceramic conversion bath, ensuring a uniform and dense ceramic film for optimum corrosion resistance and coating adhesion.

Product Features1.High-efficiency cleaning & surface conditioning: Rapidly saponifies and emulsifies animal, vegetable and mineral oils, strongly penetrates and removes stubborn contaminants such as stamping oil and rust preventive oil. Mild etching forms a uniform fresh active iron surface favorable for ceramic film formation.
2.Excellent compatibility with ceramic conversion: Strictly controlled silicate and phosphate contents, with selected chelating agents to avoid accumulation causing mottling, iridescence, poor adhesion or premature bath failure.
3.Superior rinsability & low residue: Good water solubility, easy to rinse, ensuring no cleaning agent residue before ceramic conversion to avoid interference with pH and film formation.
4.Good inter-process rust resistance: Contains inter-process rust inhibitors to prevent carbon steel from flash rusting after high-temperature cleaning and before ceramic conversion.
5.Wide process adaptability: Suitable for spray and immersion applications, controllable foam, stable performance.

Standard Process FlowAlkaline degreasing (this product) → two-stage water rinsing → ceramic conversion → water rinsing → drying
1.Degreasing: Prepare working solution at specified concentration and temperature; treat by spray/immersion until continuous water film is achieved. Monitor total alkalinity regularly; use oil-water separator to extend bath life.
2.Two-stage rinsing: 1st stage – hot water overflow rinse (40–50°C); 2nd stage – running ambient water rinse. Ensure rinse water cleanliness and sufficient overflow to prevent recontamination.
3.Ceramic conversion: Immediately transfer thoroughly degreased and rinsed parts into ceramic conversion bath.
Notes & Safety1.PPE: Wear rubber gloves, goggles and protective clothing during handling to avoid contact.
2.Process discipline: Do not use silicate-containing degreasers or water glass. Ensure thorough rinsing to avoid alkaline residue disturbing ceramic conversion pH and film formation. Prevent flash rust on high-carbon steel/cast iron by maintaining process continuity or surface wetness.
3.Bath & system maintenance: Equip degreasing tank with effective oil removal system. Final rinse water before ceramic conversion preferably has conductivity < 100 μS/cm.
4.Wastewater treatment: Waste degreaser must be neutralized, demulsified and pretreated before discharge.
Storage & PackagingPackaging: 25kg/plastic drum, 1000kg/IBC drum
Storage: Store in cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and high temperature. Protect from freezing in winter (if frozen, usable after thawing and mixing).
Shelf life: 24 months in unopened original packaging from date of manufacture.
