Product OverviewLG907 Silane Sealer is an eco-friendly, phosphorus-free and chromium-free metal surface treatment agent based on silane coupling agent technology. It forms an ultra-thin (nano-scale), dense, three-dimensional network organic-inorganic hybrid silane film on the clean steel surface through chemical adsorption and self-assembly. The film bonds with the substrate through strong Si-O-Fe covalent bonds, and forms firm chemical bonding with subsequent organic coatings (paint, powder, adhesive) through abundant Si-OH functional groups, providing excellent adhesion, corrosion resistance and long-term durability. It is an ideal alternative to traditional phosphorus and heavy metal containing processes such as phosphating and ceramic conversion coating.

Product Features1. Excellent adhesion: Forms chemical bonds with the substrate and coating, significantly improving the coating adhesion (usually 0 grade by cross-cut method) and impact resistance

6. Good heat resistance: The heat resistance of silane film is better than some organic coatings, and the performance is stable during the subsequent drying process

Standard Process FlowPerfect Degreasing → Two-stage Water Washing → Deionized Water Washing → Silane Treatment → Drying
Standard Operation Method1. Pre-treatment (key to success): Must use matching special degreaser to ensure the workpiece surface reaches a fully hydrophilic state with continuous water film and no residue; adopt two-stage countercurrent flowing water washing to fully remove degreaser residue; the final rinse must use deionized water with conductivity <20μS/cm to minimize the impurity ions brought into the silane tank, and the dripping water conductivity of the workpiece after leaving the tank should be <50μS/cm
2. Silane treatment (core process): Immerse or spray the pre-treated qualified workpiece with LG907 working solution, strictly control the treatment time, temperature and pH value; pH is the key to reaction activity, which must be monitored daily and precisely controlled with special regulators; slight stirring or appropriate spray pressure helps to form a uniform film
3. Post-treatment & drying: After treatment, it can be drained directly, or rinsed with clean deionized water for a very short time (<15 seconds) to remove loose attachments, and then drained thoroughly; immediately enter the drying oven, bake at 100°C-120°C for 10-20 minutes to complete the cross-linking and curing of the silane film and obtain the best performance
Precautions & Safety Instructions1. Personal protection: Wear protective gloves to avoid direct contact with the solution
2. Process rules: Pre-treatment is the core of the silane process, any degreasing or water washing error will lead to the failure of the silane film; it is strictly forbidden to use tap water/groundwater to prepare and replenish the working solution, deionized water must be used; strictly control the pH value, out of range will lead to abnormal film formation reaction
3. Film verification: Visual inspection should show a uniform, iridescent complete water film after drying; regularly conduct salt water immersion test, cross-cut adhesion test, and salt spray test together with the coated workpiece
4. Wastewater treatment: The waste liquid from tank replacement has high COD, but no heavy metals, which can be discharged after reaching the standard through conventional treatment such as neutralization and flocculation
Storage & PackagingPackaging specification: 25kg/plastic drum, 1000kg/plastic drum
Storage condition: Store in a cool and ventilated place, avoid direct sunlight and high temperature
Shelf life: 12 months from the date of production under intact and unopened original packaging
