| Product Overview | LG608-3 is a high-performance, low-residue alkaline degreaser specially developed for silane/silane-based conversion film treatment processes. Its core design goal is not only to efficiently remove various oils on the steel surface, but more importantly, to provide a perfect "activated surface" for subsequent silane treatment. The special formula design minimizes the oxidation of the workpiece surface while strongly degreasing, and avoids introducing impurity ions (calcium, magnesium, phosphate, etc.) that interfere with silane film formation, which is the cornerstone for achieving "zero defect" and high performance of silane treatment. |

| Standard Operation Method | 1. Degreasing process: Prepare LG608-3 working solution with specified concentration and temperature in the degreasing tank, immerse or spray the workpiece to ensure complete oil removal and uniform water film formation on the surface; regularly test the total alkalinity (TA) and oil content of the tank solution, replenish or replace in time2. Critical thorough rinsing (2/3 steps): 1st stage 40-50°C hot water overflow rinsing to remove most of the alkaline degreasing solution and emulsified oil; 2nd stage normal temperature flowing cold water rinsing for further dilution and flushing; 3rd stage recommended deionized water/pure water rinsing to minimize the impurity ions and conductivity brought into the silane tank, ensuring the service life and film formation quality of the silane tank solution3. | Precautions & Safety Instructions | 1. Personal protection: Wear rubber gloves and safety goggles during operation to avoid the solution contacting the skin and eyes2. Process discipline: Rinsing determines the success of silane treatment. It must be ensured that the surface conductivity of the workpiece entering the silane tank is extremely low (dripping water conductivity <50μS/cm), and deionized water rinsing is highly recommended; cross-contamination is strictly prohibited, avoid a large amount of degreasing tank liquid being brought into the subsequent rinsing tank and silane tank, and set sufficient draining time; prevent flash rust, keep the workpiece wet or make a rapid transition from degreasing to silane treatment, and add a trace amount of silane-compatible flash rust inhibitor to the last rinsing water in high temperature and high humidity environment3. Tank management: The degreasing tank should be equipped with an oil-water separator (belt oil skimmer) to extend the service life of the tank solution; regularly test and maintain the quality of the rinsing water, especially the last stage deionized water4. Wastewater treatment: The replaced degreasing waste liquid has high COD, which should be collected and discharged after reaching the standard through pre-treatment such as demulsification and neutralization |
