| Product Overview | LG305 is an eco-friendly chemical brightening (whitening) agent specially designed for die-cast aluminum alloys. It quickly and uniformly dissolves an extremely thin layer on the aluminum alloy surface through special acidic chemical action, removing surface defects and presenting a uniform metallic luster, providing an ideal substrate for subsequent processing. It is a safer, more eco-friendly and easier-to-control alternative to traditional tri-acid polishing or chromium/fluoride-containing pickling processes. |

| Standard Operation Method | 1. Pre-treatment (key to success): The workpiece must be completely degreased, release agent removed and fully rinsed. Any oil residue will cause uneven polishing and spots. Recommended process: Alkaline degreasing → Two-stage water washing → (Optional) Weak acid neutralization & activation → Water washing → Enter whitening tank2. Whitening treatment (core process): Heat and maintain the solution in the tank at 90℃±5℃; fully immerse the workpiece, shake or bubble appropriately to ensure uniform reaction and no air pockets; strictly control the treatment time, determine the optimal duration through test pieces in advance to avoid over-corrosion; keep ventilation during the process3. Rapid cooling & water washing: After treatment, immediately take out the workpiece and immerse it in a large amount of flowing cold water to quickly stop the reaction and obtain a whiter and more uniform surface; then perform two-stage countercurrent rinsing to completely remove acidic residues4. Post-treatment: Neutralize with 1-3% sodium carbonate solution, final rinse with pure water/deionized water, and dry thoroughly with hot air/drying oven immediately |
| Precautions & Safety Instructions | 1. Personal protection: Wear acid-resistant gloves and safety goggles during operation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of splashing, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary2. Process discipline: It is strictly forbidden for workpieces with a large amount of accumulated water to enter the chemical tank, to prevent excessive dilution and contamination of the tank solution; different grades of aluminum alloys need to be tested with small samples first to determine the optimal process window3. Wastewater treatment: The waste tank solution shall be collected as hazardous waste and handed over to a qualified unit for treatment, or discharged after reaching the standard through in-plant neutralization, precipitation and other systematic treatments |
